So…

…It’s been a while since my last post, but rest assured I’ve been rather busy!

I’ve started doing some writing for my mate Rob Hayward’s new website, love-manchester.com, a cracking site that will surely become eveyone’s favourite one-stop shop for things that are going on about town! Not only has it led to a few more gigs that are perhaps a bit more up my street, such as Skunk Anansie and W.A.S.P., but also given me a chance to have a bit more of a rant and a rave about the fair city of Manchester! So thanks to Rob and Liz for the opportunity!

Elsewhere, I’ve also started blogging for GigJunkie, a live music social networking site that, as the name suggests, means more gig reviews! So far, I’ve only checked out Napalm Death, but I’m already on the case for a few more

Finally, I’m still at High Voltage, and recently completed a few more CD reviews of varying quality (the CDs I mean, not the reviews…)

Eliza Doolittle

Thirty Seconds to Mars

Through High Voltage I also got to check out Luke Haines at the Deaf Institute a while back.  This may sound like blasphemy to you musos out there, but I had no idea who he was at the time, however, by the end of the night a good time was had by all…

Photos for all of these can be found at Gemma Harris’s Flickr page, so please check them out!

There’s a few more gigs to come before Xmas, so be sure to check back here for the next update!

Ta ta for now!
